Complete quantity calculations as directed by engineer.
Design and drafting of engineering plans.
Works under the guidance of engineers and project managers to complete assigned drafting tasks.
Prepares engineering drawings from rough sketches or from general engineering and design information (verbal instructions and notes) using CADD software programs.
Revises or changes drawings, and completes simple calculations with specific instructions.
Maintains schedules and offers progress reports.

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
1+ Years of civil engineering design related experience preferred.
Previous experience with Autodesk Products (Civil 3D)
High School Diploma or GED equivalent minimum
Ability to take direction and express understanding of the directions received.
Understands and follows the company’s standard CADD procedures for layering and standard drawing procedures for sheet layout.
Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines.
