Day‑to‑day responsibilities include managing Development Application and Subdivision Works Certificate projects from initiation through construction, maintaining project programs and budgets, preparing civil engineering documentation, applying engineering knowledge to drawings and calculations, supervising sites and conducting quality‑control inspections, and handling contract administration tasks such as reviewing drawings and responding to RFIs.
Stantec is seeking an experienced Project Manager/Civil Engineer to join its Project Delivery Team in NSW, supporting the Community Development business based in Sydney or Wollongong. The role involves client‑facing project management, internal design coordination, engineering assessment, stakeholder engagement, and exposure to construction‑phase tasks, ensuring all work meets relevant standards, specifications, and drawings.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, has at least three years of experience in project management, civil engineering, or site supervision of land development and infrastructure projects, and possesses Engineers Australia membership or eligibility.
