  • Prepare the monthly cash flow projection report which tracks actual cash inflows and outflows, tracking and comparing against the initial annual cash flow budget.
  • Support general accounting functions as needed, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
  • Serve as a key player in month-end close.
  • Prepare management fee summary reports, comparing budget with actual results.
  • Process management fees received from properties either through check or ACH.
  • Track general and administrative (G&A) expenses and analyze against annual budgeted amounts, researching and explaining discrepancies.
  • Assist with coordinating activities of external auditor.
  • Assist in preparing and participating in the annual budget process, monitoring actual results, and supporting with reforecasting efforts.
  • Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Coding and processing of corporate invoices accurately and timely.
  • Work with developers to understand current cash needs on predevelopment projects and add their current 12-month budge forecast into the corporate cash flow report.

  • This position is Hybrid. Candidates must reside in Rochester, NY or within commuting distance to support required in-person presence. While some remote work is permitted, regular in-person office attendance is an essential function of the role. The Rochester Resource Center will serve as your base office.
  • Minimum High School/GED required
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • effective problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently as well as support a team.
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet required deadlines
  • Advanced MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Business professional with excellent business judgment at all times.
  • Excellent customer service skills to interact with all employees and external lenders, investors and agencies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
  • Minimum 1-3 years’ related accounting/finance experience required with daily operations and month-end closing experience.
  • Accurate data entry skills with excellent proofreading abilities.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Yardi Voyager experience desired or willing to train.
