The employee will be required to work shifts as assigned with appropriate notice, including nights and weekends.
Calculating the chemical feed rate required, calibrating feed equipment, and adjusting feed rate per lab tests or supervisor's instructions.
Conduct routine water testing and recording test results.
Calibrating instruments, taking chemical deliveries, and general site maintenance.
Preparing and submitting routine state and regulatory reports for review.
Ensuring quality of treated water meets federal and local regulations and company standards.
Train in all duties related to a Water Treatment Plant Operator and Maintenance Technician. Duties will include but not be limited to:
Monitoring all charts, gauges, and other operating equipment at treatment plant(s) or within the distribution system, utilizing SCADA.

May be required to test for and pass a PA Operator's A exam in the future, unless already attained.
Basic mechanical skills.
Excellent organizational skills related to project management and record keeping.
Appropriate operator's license or water certificate and sub-classifications are not required for application, but desirable.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and basic knowledge of water treatment methods, water chemistry and tests, federal, state, and local drinking water regulations and company standards, and water collection systems.
Valid driver's license is required.
