The role assists projects from initiation through closeout, supporting the project team and management while meeting cost, quality, schedule, and objective parameters, especially for projects that require integration across multiple functional organizations.
Key duties include preparing project documentation and status reports, creating project communications for manager approval, assisting the Project Manager with evaluating contracted services and materials, and developing funding authorization packages. Additional responsibilities may involve emergency response duties as required by company policy.
Minimum qualifications are a bachelor’s degree with two years of related experience, or an associate’s degree with four years, or a high school diploma/GED with six years; alternatively, a PMP certification obtained within 18 months of hire is acceptable. Candidates must also meet access and medical requirements for the position.
Preferred qualifications include knowledge of utility business processes and power‑plant equipment, as well as experience in project budgeting, cost tracking, and cost estimating.
