Bba Consultants
Providing multidisciplinary engineering, environmental, and project management solutions.
Lead mechanical & piping engineering for biofuel projects: design, proposals & site work.
Verify and produce request for proposal (RFP) files, specifications and other technical equipment documents
Establish and maintain relationships with clients to define their needs
Prepare material lists and bills of materials in accordance with codes, standards, drawings and other established procedures while applying BBA’s quality system requirements
Lead and participate in project design studies
Ensure work complies with established schedules, estimates, procedures and budgets
Supervise and perform design calculations and ensure that plans meet guidelines as well as code requirements and other regulations
Lead and participate in designing plans, details and specifications
Perform sizing calculations for pressurized piping equipment
Perform technical information statements
Allocate tasks to junior engineers, technicians and drafters assigned to projects, review their work and assess the technical scope of projects

Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite and other applications, databases and interfaces
Knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks and Navisworks applications
University degree in mechanical engineering and a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
At least seven years of relevant experience

Knowledge of pressure vessel, piping and API pump design
Asset: experience in green hydrogen projects, CO2 capture or oil, gas and biofuels
Knowledge of codes and standards applicable to the petrochemical industry
Available for occasional travel for a few days across Canada and abroad

Ability to share and pass on knowledge
