  • Identify defects in Work-In-Progress (WIP) materials, document findings, and escalate to the Quality Manager.
  • Perform regular 5S and SOP audits to uphold workplace organization and procedural compliance.
  • Lead small teams independently to meet production and quality goals, escalating issues to the supervisor as needed.
  • Ensure daily production rotations and employee breaks are executed per company policy.
  • Work closely with the Production Supervisor to determine staffing schedules and allocate overtime as needed.
  • Document hour-by-hour production for large pack operations and perform quality inspections per QA guidelines.
  • Facilitate smooth shift transitions by updating the upcoming shift and maintaining clear communication to minimize delays.

  • Ability to understand detailed written and/or oral instructions.
  • Able to read and interpret Bills of Materials (BOM), work orders, and scales to ensure accurate production and material usage.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Ability to learn and apply manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment operations, safety requirements, and departmental procedures.
  • Exhibit working proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on quality and safety.

  • A minimum of 1 year lead production experience in a manufacturing or logistics setting.
  • 1 + years experience in a Manufacturing environment preferred.
