Develop and maintain strong client relationships through excellent service and communication.
Prepare proposals, cost estimates, and scopes of work in response to RFPs and business opportunities.
Travel on foot across uneven, rugged, or obstructed terrain, sometimes in areas inaccessible by vehicle.
Identify opportunities to grow service offerings and expand client base.
Ensure effective project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Work at outdoor sites including wetlands, forests, grasslands, construction zones, and undeveloped land.
Review and approve technical reports and client deliverables for quality and regulatory compliance.
Manage the full project lifecycle from proposal and scope development through execution and reporting.
Maintain financial oversight of projects, including profitability, cost tracking, and reporting.
Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical oversight to project staff, field technicians, and junior consultants.
Lead-based paint surveys and risk assessments
Maintain and enforce high standards for quality, health and safety, and regulatory compliance across all projects.
Serve as a primary client contact for occupational health and safety services.
Work is performed at a desk for extended periods using a computer, phone, and standard office equipment in a climate-controlled office environment.

Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
Minimum of 5+ years of environmental consulting experience
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline; OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry-specific platforms (e.g., project management, data reporting systems).
Ability to stand, walk, drive, and operate lab and field equipment for extended periods.
Certifications in relevant inspection or testing areas preferred (e.g., ACI, ICC, ATTI, Nuclear Safety).
Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills
Ability to lift and carry between 35-75 lbs. of equipment or samples over distances up to 75 feet.
Industrial hygiene assessments (e.g., noise, chemical exposure, dust, particulates)
Regular in-person communication with team members, clients, and stakeholders is required.
Exposure to varying weather conditions including heat, cold, humidity, rain, or sun.
Ability to bend, twist, reach, stoop, kneel, climb, and balance as needed during both lab and fieldwork.
This position requires moderate travel, approximately up to 40% of the time, in support of business
This position operates in a hybrid work environment, requiring flexibility to work effectively from both a professional office and work site setting.
Professional Geologist; PG or Professional Engineer; PE registration/license
Willingness to travel to job sites and work in diverse environmental conditions
Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats in varied environments, often while wearing PPE.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage multiple priorities, and interface with clients and regulatory bodies effectively
Knowledge of environmental permitting, regulations, and testing methods
