The EHS Manager will assist in implementing the corporate EHS strategy to mitigate risk to people, property, and the environment, and will develop, implement, and maintain policies that comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Responsibilities include providing expert guidance across ergonomics, industrial hygiene, safety, environmental, disaster response, business continuity and occupational health, managing the eCompliance incident‑reporting system, and ensuring accurate reporting of injury, environmental and GHG performance metrics. The role partners with site EHS Leads to maintain regulatory compliance, supports budgeting for risk‑reduction initiatives, drives projects that reduce the company’s environmental footprint, and stays current with industry best practices and emerging EHS trends.
- Implement corporate EHS strategy to mitigate risk to people, property, and environment.
- Develop and maintain EHS and sustainability policies in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Provide expert guidance on ergonomics, industrial hygiene, safety, environmental, disaster response, business continuity, and occupational health.
- Manage eCompliance system for mandatory incident reporting and action tracking.
- Report key performance metrics such as occupational injuries, environmental impacts, and GHG inventory results.
- Partner with site EHS Leads to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Identify and support budgetary needs for risk reduction and compliance assurance.
- Lead initiatives to reduce the company's environmental footprint, conserve resources, and minimize waste.
- Assist in closing property/casualty recommendations from third‑party insurers.
- Stay current with industry best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging EHS trends.
- Deploy EHS and sustainability programs across multinational organizations.

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in environmental health and safety, sustainability, engineering, or a related field, and have at least seven years of EHS compliance and sustainability experience, including five years in a leadership role (or an advanced degree with equivalent experience). Aerospace industry experience, familiarity with manufacturing or oil/gas operations, and a track record of deploying EHS or sustainability programs across multinational organizations are advantageous. The ideal applicant demonstrates strong leadership, team‑building and influencing skills, technical problem‑solving and project‑management abilities, data‑analytics expertise with EHS management systems, and excellent written and verbal communication. Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, OSHA, EPA and NFPA regulations, a collaborative leadership style, willingness to work flexible hours, and a hands‑on approach are also required.
