This role involves hands-on testing, automation framework design, team leadership, and close collaboration with stakeholders to ensure seamless system performance during a major SAP HRP upgrade from 4.7 to 6.0.
- Manage daily test status reporting, test entry/exit criteria, and defect tracking.
- Prepare, execute, validate, and document test scripts using SAP Solution Manager, HPQC, and QTP.
- Gather requirements in Quality Center templates, and upload finalized data into Quality Center for traceability and audit readiness.
- Collaborate with Functional and Analyst teams to develop comprehensive test scenarios.
- Lead and mentor an offshore team — establishing direction, inspiring collaboration, and maintaining a shared vision.
- Review Business, Functional, and Technical Requirements as well as Process Design documents.
- Plan and execute automation test scripts, log defects, and verify fixes.
- Review and assess test scripts developed by other engineers to ensure test quality and compliance.
- Integrate SAP and Non-SAP processes using SAP Solution Manager (SOLMAN), QTP, and Selenium.
- Develop and maintain robust test automation frameworks to enhance testing efficiency.
- Work closely with the Testing Lead, ensuring payroll tests are successfully executed and approved by internal stakeholders and vendors.

- Strong understanding of SAP HR processes and system upgrades (preferably HRP 4.7 to 6.0).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across all levels.
- Hands-on expertise with SAP Solution Manager, QTP/UFT, Selenium, and HPQC/ALM.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with keen attention to detail.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in managing offshore teams and cross-functional collaboration.
- Proven experience in SAP Test Engineering and Automation Testing.
