The director will ensure customer satisfaction, develop and maintain processes, manage operating systems, and meet key performance indicators such as cost reduction, asset turnover, and employment metrics. Responsibilities include staffing, performance management, motivating the management team, coordinating with business, sales, and engineering, monitoring overall performance, implementing production, cost and quality controls, fostering a high‑performing safety culture, and creating a 5‑10‑year business strategy for global facilities.
Candidates must demonstrate influencing skills, performance‑management expertise, strategic thinking, and knowledge of lean manufacturing and capacity planning. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required, along with prior operations leadership experience.
The position is based in Corinth, MS, with domestic relocation assistance, up to 10 % travel, and eligibility for stock or equity grants under Caterpillar’s long‑term incentive plan. Pay ranges from $203,670 to $305,510, and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.
