Transportation Service Lead - Civil

Description

The role involves guiding business development, fostering team growth, and collaborating with regional and local leaders to strengthen Westwood’s market position.

• Develop and implement strategic plans to expand Westwood’s transportation market share.
• Lead, mentor, and empower transportation service staff throughout California.
• Coordinate service‑based workload and ensure adherence to company policies and standards.
• Provide technical expertise and pursue revenue opportunities to support business development.
• Establish design standards, reports, specifications, and data file guidelines for the service group.
• Advise on hiring decisions and identify technical resource needs for the region.
• Stay current on industry trends, technology, software, and equipment to drive innovation.
• Travel to project sites and Westwood offices across the United States as required.

Requirements

• Hold a California Professional Engineer (PE) or Traffic Engineer (TE) license, or obtain one within six months.
• Bring 10+ years of transportation engineering, design, project management, and business development experience.
• Demonstrate excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
