What you would be doing

- Fitting of accessories including Beacons, work/spotlights, stereos, revers cameras, UHF radios, off road equipment and other safety devices/systems
- Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade
- Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) in line with maintenance strategies on Light Vehicles, Light Trucks, generators and compressors
- Ensure service sheets and Work Orders filled out correctly and maintenance systems updated accordingly
- Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical/air-condition components to diagnose issues accurately providing recommendations for repair
- Cleaning and maintaining workshop environment and tooling
- Provide accurate duration estimates for a repair or maintenance job

- Valid Driver's License: With a clean driving record
- Proficiency in identifying intricate mechanical and electronic problems across vehicle models.
- Relevant Certification Preferred Automotive Technology or related certification/degree.
- Relevant Certification in automotive electrical and air-condition technology highly desirable
- Excelling in team interactions through effective communication skills.
- Road test vehicles to ensure road wroth before handed back to operations
- Experience within the mining sector is highly desirable
- Experience in Toyota, Hino and Isuzu highly desirable
- Proven Experience and strong track record of successful automotive repairs and maintenance.
- Working efficiently in fast-paced environments without compromising accuracy.
- Light Vehicle Automotive Mechanic trade qualification
- Ongoing work with a fortnightly pay cycle
- A National Police Check
- Rates starting from $50.00 per hour plus Super
