The role serves as a senior, client‑facing leader responsible for shaping and expanding North Wind’s Federal portfolio across defense and civilian agencies, focusing on engineering, architect‑engineer, environmental, and technical advisory services, and complements Business Development leads by providing enterprise‑level credibility and strategic insight.
Key duties include senior executive engagement with Federal customers, long‑term relationship development, identifying and shaping new opportunities, supporting capture teams, providing oversight of active contracts, coordinating with business line leaders to mitigate risks, mentoring staff, maintaining strategic market insight, and ensuring compliance with Federal acquisition regulations.
The Senior Director, Federal Programs position is based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and is a regular full‑time role that may require up to 25% travel and the ability to obtain a Secret or higher U.S. government clearance.
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, or a related field, have at least 20 years of progressive experience in Federal engineering or infrastructure programs, and demonstrate exceptional interpersonal, analytical, and strategic thinking skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to travel as needed.
