Resource planning and allocation for a Built Environment & Local Growth Business Unit, maximizing team potential and driving operational excellence.
Maintain an accurate forward forecast of demand across the organisation
Maximise team potential and ensure every resource is in the right place at the right time
Assess, communicate and manage risks to resourcing across the portfolio of projects
Provide management information to inform key stakeholders on the status of planned activities, overall portfolio health, and to support decision making across the business
Uses multi- channel communication to ensure clarity and connection on activities
Allocate the most appropriate and available people to projects based on the schedule of activities and role requirements built into bids and proposals
Track project plans to identify and help resolve resourcing conflicts
You may be required to undertake any other reasonable duties to support the Catapult in achieving its strategic outcomes and ensure effective business operation
Build dynamic partnerships, drive rapid results, and deliver standout projects
Ensure resource allocation maximises the likelihood of successful delivery of the organisation's portfolio

Track resource utilisation and resource availability, engaging with project managers and delivery teams to minimise project slippage

Have a clear understanding of all live and pipeline projects with regards to resourcing requirements

Experience in MS Dynamics
Ability to function independently and use own initiative in a fast-paced environment, as well as to take direction
Experience of working with senior stakeholders in a matrix organisation

Customer perspective is understood and applied
Working knowledge of project methodologies, both waterfall and agile
Experience in using Power BI to generate reports
Analytical mindset with proficiency in Power BI and D365 (training provided)
