The position provides inspection support for construction projects, ensuring work complies with applicable codes, specifications, and contract documents. It covers structural steel erection, electrical and instrumentation installations, mechanical equipment alignment, and piping fabrication. Candidates must be familiar with relevant codes such as AISC, AWS D1.1, AWS D1.6, ICEA, IEEE, ISA, NEC, NEMA, NESC, NFPA, and hold certifications like Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) where required.
Core duties include assisting material handling staff with storage and preventive maintenance, communicating inspection results, recommending corrective actions, and contributing to quality control documentation such as ITPs. The role also involves performing measurements, testing equipment, and verifying that systems and components are installed correctly according to the assigned discipline.
- Assists material handling personnel with required material storage and PM requirements as needed.
- Communicates with others regarding inspections results and recommends corrective procedures.
- Participates in activities to support the company's strategic planning efforts.
- Participates in the preparation of Quality control ITP.
- Performs control measuring and tests equipment.
- Verifies the installation of the systems, components and equipment in accordance with the assigned discipline.
- May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis.
- May use telephone, computer system, email, or other electronic devices on a limited basis to communicate with internal and external customers or vendors.
- Occasionally will climb stairs, ladders, etc.
- Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis.
- Will interact with people frequently during a shift/work day.
- Will lift, push or pull objects on an occasional basis.
- Will sit, stand or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift/work day.

Applicants need at least one year of construction experience and one year in a quality control inspection role, a high school diploma, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. The job requires frequent use of personal protective equipment, ability to work at heights, reach, stoop, and handle tools, and compliance with all safety standards, reflecting its safety‑sensitive classification.
- 1+ year construction practices.
- 1+ year in quality control inspection discipline.
- HS Degree Required.
- Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to; steel toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hardhat, vest, etc.).
- May reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis.
- Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures.
