Maintanence Technician

Description

The Maintenance Technician role is an entry‑level position in Seattle, WA, supporting operation, inspection, and light maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in assigned facilities. The role offers opportunities for growth in the engineering field.

Key duties include performing general maintenance such as carpentry, plumbing, and painting; repairing facility equipment; maintaining tools, parts, and supplies in a clean and safe condition; documenting service work; and communicating issues, timelines, and priorities with management and partners.

• Perform general maintenance including carpentry, plumbing, and painting
• Repair and maintain mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment
• Maintain tools, parts, and supplies in clean, safe condition
• Document service activities and maintain service records
• Communicate issues, timelines, and priorities to management and partners
• Assist operations team with building repairs and equipment maintenance
• Move office furniture, machinery, and equipment as needed
• Adhere to JLL and client policies and procedures

Requirements

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of field experience, the ability to lift 50 lb and use ladders up to 30 ft, and a mechanical/electrical aptitude. Strong verbal and written communication, basic computer skills, self‑motivation, and the ability to work independently or in a team are also required.

• Demonstrate mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer proficiency with email, internet, and office software
