We Make Doors – Where they lead is up to you… The HR Generalist will be primarily responsible for providing human resources support and services to the Sidman facility and will assist the Sr. HR Manager with day‑to‑day HR operations for the exterior and distribution region.
- Manage payroll for the facility and support additional locations as needed.
- Facilitate onboarding to ensure a smooth and compliant new‑hire experience.
- Resolve employee questions by partnering with HR Shared Services and plant leadership.
- Advise plant leadership on employee relations, performance, and policy matters.
- Conduct thorough and timely employee relations investigations.
- Manage responses to unemployment and workers’ compensation claims.
- Assist plant leaders with corrective action and performance management.
- Promote consistent interpretation and application of company policies across the facility.
- Facilitate effective employee communication to drive clarity and engagement.
- Help plan and execute employee engagement events and activities.
- Participate in corporate HR initiatives, projects, and cross‑functional efforts.
- Coach and develop plant leaders on HR processes, procedures, and performance‑management best practices.
- Support the HR Manager with broader HR initiatives and strategic objectives.
- Apply state and federal employment compliance knowledge.
- Provide strong customer service with excellent written and verbal communication.
- Multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment and build relationships with a diverse workforce.
- Deliver group presentations to employees and remain calm in various situations.
- Ensure leadership compliance with labor laws and assess escalation needs.

- Hold a bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Possess 2‑3 years of recruiting and HR Generalist experience, preferably in manufacturing.
- Experience handling and resolving a wide range of employee relations issues; HR certification preferred.
- Familiarity with UKG timekeeping and SuccessFactors software.
