Conduct research on issues, policies, and concepts pertaining to airport planning.
Develop alternatives analysis for airport projects that meet FAA standards.
Assist in the development of conceptual planning alternatives for airport projects.
Assist in the coordination of obstruction evaluations and airport airspace analysis through state DOT aeronautics officials and/or FAA officials.
Assist project managers with tasks and deliverables within budget and schedule.
Prepare technical reports, exhibits, presentations, and planning documents for clients and stakeholders.
Lead airport planning projects including airport master plans, layout plans, and Exhibit A property maps.
Engage with clients and stakeholders including airport managers, airport boards/authorities, airport tenants, state DOT aeronautics officials, FAA officials, and members of the public.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, environmental scientists, and GIS specialists.
Present project information for public involvement workshops.
Coordinate data collection and complete analysis related to airport operations, forecasts, and facility needs for both airside and landside capital projects.

Relevant experience in the aviation industry including knowledge of airport design, project eligibility and justification, and grant programs.
AICP, CM, AAE or other planning or airport related certifications.
Domestic travel may be required, mostly in the South/Southeast US. The frequency of travel is contingent on workload and project demands.
Bachelor’s degree in aviation management, urban planning, geography, public administration, engineering, or related field.
