Conduct microsimulation traffic engineering using PTV VISSIM.
Perform Traffic Impact Assessments and scheme evaluations with microsimulation models.
Execute junction modelling projects using SYNCRO.
Apply traffic operations expertise with junction modelling software.
Utilize traffic flow theory and route assignment techniques.
Stay updated on industry trends and integrate emerging transport planning solutions.
Perform GIS analysis with ArcGIS, MapInfo, or QGIS.
Analyze complex datasets using Power BI, Python, or VB.
Develop innovative transportation solutions and improve processes.
Collaborate with engineers, planners, and policymakers on land‑use integration.
Provide technical oversight and review junior team members’ work.
Manage project data using ProjectWise to ensure efficient collaboration.
Solve technical design problems with innovative ideas to meet client and regulatory requirements.
Communicate effectively with lead office and client teams to ensure seamless delivery.
Obtain approvals for submissions from clients and authorities.
Produce high‑quality technical reports, notes, and methodology documents.
Present modelling analysis and results confidently to clients and lead offices.

4+ years experience in strategic transport modelling with PTV VISSIM.
Familiarity with Australian and New Zealand transport projects (preferred).
Knowledge of TRM and Austroads guidelines.
Strong understanding of traffic and junction modelling, statistics, and mathematics.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder liaison.
Experience with additional modelling tools (LinSig, SIDRA, AIMSUN, VISUM) is a plus.
Proactive with ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Master’s degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning or related field.
Member of a recognised professional institution and progressing toward chartership.
