Coordinate with lead estimator about bid progression to ensure take offs, quotes, and bill of materials are ready in a timely manner.
Learn about the Estimating life cycle from experienced electrical estimators.
Review technical specifications for project requirements
Build a bill of materials for vendor quotes
Will lift, carry, push, pull, kneel, crouch, and reach.
Sit, stand, and walk during the duration of the workday.
Must comply with all safety standards and procedures.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within team environments.
Preferred but not required: Experience in Bluebeam or Live Count, knowledge of Electrical/Low-Voltage scope of work in Construction Industry.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with other members of the Estimating department to create a single good estimate.
Reading Plans and performing quantity takeoffs
Currently pursuing higher education in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
Strong focus and attention to detail when completing tasks.
Comfortable working in a desk-based role with no fieldwork requirements.
Must wear proper PPE while on jobsites.
