The Maintenance Technician supports daily property upkeep by handling service requests, performing repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and grounds, and ensuring work orders are completed accurately and within 24 hours. They also inspect buildings and systems, maintain inventory records, clean and paint common areas, manage waste removal, and coordinate bids when needed. Effective communication with the property manager and prompt response to resident concerns are essential.
Candidates must hold a high school diploma or equivalent and have at least five years of property‑management or related maintenance experience. A broad knowledge of repair trades, strong customer‑service skills, organizational ability, and the capacity to work overtime, weekends, and on‑call shifts are required. Valid driver’s license, professional appearance, and compliance with safety policies are also mandatory; personal tools are preferred.
