The role involves maintaining equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring safety compliance while supporting team success. You will also conduct inspections, keep accurate documentation, and actively participate in onsite safety programs.
- Receive, prioritize, and complete repair and installation work orders on time
- Diagnose equipment, machinery, and facility system issues; serve as primary contact for robotics, hydraulics, or pneumatics
- Disassemble, adjust, repair, reassemble, and retest components such as valves, pumps, motors, and tools
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on machinery, processing equipment, and facility systems; orient others on TPM methods
- Conduct equipment inspections for efficiency and potential issues; maintain accurate records and documentation
- Follow manuals, diagrams, codes, and safety regulations; support weather‑related safety measures
- Maintain an organized workspace and keep tools in top condition; actively participate in onsite safety programs
- Communicate problems and improvement opportunities to supervisor; work overtime as required and assist the team wherever possible
- Read and interpret plans, diagrams, manuals, specifications, and precision instruments; perform basic mathematical calculations
- Lift/move materials up to 40 lb regularly
- Operate small hand tools and common shop‑floor equipment
