Senior Manager – General Accounting joins a high‑performing, centralised finance team that partners with JLL Property Managers and clients to deliver accurate property accounts for Australian‑based assets. The role ensures compliance with Trust and Property Accounting policies, leads monthly finance training, and prepares financial reports for a portfolio of assets. It also oversees journal entry review, balance‑sheet reconciliations, GST reconciliation and the transition of properties into and out of the portfolio.
In this role you will identify key issues from partial or conflicting data, assess situations using standard procedures and make sound decisions with moderate supervision. You will work within established processes, applying professional leadership to maintain high‑quality, timely output.
The ideal candidate holds a commerce degree (post‑graduate/CA preferred) and brings at least 15 years of operational or general‑ledger accounting experience, with real‑estate accounting a plus. They have a minimum of five years’ experience leading finance teams, strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, and a positive, solution‑focused attitude. High proficiency in MS Office and real‑estate software, along with impactful written and verbal communication, are essential.
