The HR Business Partner will join Sika’s Human Resources team on a field‑based basis, supporting sites in Leeds, Redditch, Preston and Welwyn Garden City. The role requires flexibility to travel between locations and includes a blend of home‑working. You will work alongside senior managers and people managers to provide both tactical and strategic HR support.
The primary purpose of the role is to enable great people decisions and nurture a culture aligned with Sika’s values. The team aims to boost individual, managerial and team performance across the HR lifecycle, and to source, develop and retain talent. You will design a bespoke People Agenda, raise manager capability, and identify high‑potential talent within your areas of responsibility.
The position is a 14‑month fixed‑term maternity cover with the possibility of a permanent role later. Candidates should hold a CIPD Level 5/7 qualification or equivalent, have a proven track record in complex employee‑relations cases, and demonstrate self‑starter attitude, stakeholder‑building skills and a commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
