Procurement Manager - Interiors

Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and strategic Procurement Manager to oversee the sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing of materials, furniture, fixtures, and services for our interior design projects. The ideal candidate will ensure timely availability of high-quality materials within budget while maintaining strong relationships with vendors and ensuring smooth coordination with the design and project execution teams.

• Regularly report cost savings, procurement performance, and vendor performance metrics.
• Coordinate with design, project, and site teams to understand material requirements and delivery schedules.
• Develop and maintain vendor databases with updated product catalogues and price lists.
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to avoid project delays.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve cost efficiency and quality standards.
• Monitor market trends, new materials, and supplier innovations relevant to interior design.
• Source and evaluate vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors for materials, furniture, lighting, and décor items.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and documentation standards.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budgets.
• Review and approve purchase orders, invoices, and payment schedules.
• Maintain inventory levels and track material usage across multiple projects.

Requirements

• Proficient in MS Office and procurement software .
• Proven track record of managing procurement for turnkey interior projects.
• Strong analytical, budgeting, and cost-control abilities.
• Excellent knowledge of materials used in interior design and construction (plywood, laminates, lighting, hardware, furnishings, etc.).
• Good communication and coordination skills across design and site teams.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Time management and multitasking ability under tight deadlines.
• 5–6 years of experience in procurement, preferably within an interior design, architecture, or construction company.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Interior Design, or related field.
