Delivery drivers are responsible for transporting the company’s food products from the distribution center to customers using dedicated routes. They must load and unload shipments, secure pallets, collect payments when needed, and ensure each delivery is completed safely and on time. Excellent professional and customer service is expected when interacting with both internal teams and external clients.
Drivers must follow all safety regulations, traffic laws and DOT requirements, and immediately report any mechanical or safety issues. They are expected to perform daily pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections and maintain a detailed electronic log of working hours in accordance with state and federal rules.
The position is based in Irondale, AL 35210 and can be filled on any shift. Candidates must apply through the CDLA Driver Application for Ethnix Group and be registered with the FMCSA Clearinghouse. An active medical card and a CDL‑A license in good standing are required, along with a pre‑employment MVR, background check and drug screen.
Applicants need a high school diploma or GED, a clean driving record, and at least one year of experience as a CDL‑A driver. Proficiency in English is required, with Spanish being a plus; basic math, reasoning, and computer skills—including the use of electronic logbooks and delivery software—are also necessary.
Each driver must hold a valid, unexpired CDL Class A license issued in Kentucky and maintain a current medical certificate/card at all times.
The work environment includes unconditioned warehouse areas, temperature‑controlled zones, and exposure to outdoor elements, as well as moving machinery such as forklifts and order pickers. Drivers must meet visual and hearing standards, be able to lift 50 lb unaided (150 lb with assistance), and stand, walk, climb, stoop, and squat throughout their shift.
