Tasks

-Diagnose and repair HVAC/R systems, including electrical, mechanical, and electronic components -Perform maintenance and emergency service as needed, including after-hours on-call rotations -Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, cooling, and refrigeration units for commercial customers. -Provide the highest level of technical ability, quality, value, and integrity to our customers -Diagnose diverse service issues, obtain any replacement parts, calibrate system to manufacturer’s recommendations, and be able to explain need for and value of recommended solutions -Travel to job sites in service area and work with dispatcher to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to customer -Participate in company-provided training opportunities -Accurately document all service details using company-provided iPads -Maintain good working order of company vehicle, equipment, and electronics -Be available to work nights or weekends, on a rotating basis, to service emergency needs of our customers -Identify and report potential opportunities for additional business (new unit/ system, PM contracts, and additional services) -Maintain your company vehicle, tools, and parts inventory to the highest standards -Diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of these systems -Document details of services and parts provided to customers electronically through iPad applications -Identify additional service opportunities and share them with customers -Maintain stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle -Communicate clearly with customers and dispatch to ensure smooth scheduling and service delivery

What You Bring

-Ability to read and interpret schematics and work plans -Must be able to travel to customer sites as needed -Must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver tools and equipment, including extension ladders, up to 100 lbs -Must be able to stand, sit, walk, and climb ladders throughout the day -Required to occasionally work in an office environment -Must use vision, hearing, and verbal communication continuously -High school diploma or GED -Must maintain physical stamina and endurance for repetitive tasks and extended activity -Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills -Required to follow all applicable safety procedures -Must operate work-related equipment such as iPads, cell phones, and computers -Must be able to bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach into confined spaces, and perform twisting, pushing, and pulling tasks -Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or holidays when needed -Minimum of 2 years recent experience as an HVAC/R field technician -Basic comfort with mobile apps and technology -EPA certification and a valid driver’s license -Must be able to safely work at heights using ladders up to 28-32 feet and operate equipment within manufacturer weight limits
