Supporting the tendering process of projects pre-delivery, working with procurement and commercial teams to develop appropriate contracting strategies, and providing expert input to the production of Scope, Site and Works Information.
Management of projects during pre-construction phases, in particular through optioneering, development and consenting
Management of project delivery, design, safety by design, commissioning, scheme closure and post-completion requirements.
Developing projects during the early phases of the lifecycle, including the development, optioneering and consenting stages, to ensure robust, innovative designs and deliverable programmes are in place.

Delivering client projects to time, cost and quality requirements within regulated sectors
Managing programme, budget and risks throughout the project lifecycle, and ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental legislation and standards, and CDM regulations.
Management of health, safety and environmental risks throughout the project lifecycle
Management and coordination of multi-disciplinary teams to achieve project outcomes
Providing regular/monthly updates which include health, safety and environmental performance, milestone and activity progress, risk and opportunity management, and financial performance.
Managing complex third-party issues, land, consents, grantors, public relations and community stakeholders.
Managing and co-ordinating contractors and project teams, including the co-ordination and integration of projects across delivery interfaces, to successfully deliver projects to time, cost and specification and with minimal disruption.
Chairing monthly progress and cost review meetings and regularly attend weekly site meetings.
Acting as the key interface between the project and both internal and external teams and stakeholders, maintaining and developing relationships.
Management of the design stage, including review of the proposals for SHESQ management, project risks, deliverability, programme and safety performance.

Member of a relevant professional institute.
Recognised training or qualifications in health, safety, environmental (e.g. NEBOSH, SMSTS or IOSH)
Presenting clearly and communicates effectively in a confident manner.
Experienced in environmental management and control.
Demonstrating a better perspective and explores innovative approaches in pursuit of a better way.
Experienced in the management of NEC contracts in project delivery.
Good understanding of HS&E management systems and requirements.
Understanding of procurement associated with complex projects.
Knowledge of project handover records.
Knowledge of risk management processes for both schedule and cost analysis.
Degree qualified with a minimum of five years’ relevant regulated industry experience OR HNC /HND qualified with a minimum of seven years’ relevant regulated industry experience.
Experienced in formal hazard review process.
Experienced in relevant legislation as applicable to complex projects.
Experience in electrical infrastructure projects.
Good understanding of technical documentation.
