Due to the nature of the work, you are required to currently hold and maintain a minimum Negative Vetting 1 or higher Security clearance as required by the Commonwealth. In some instances, compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements may also be an inherent requirement.

- Specialised Defence Knowledge: Highly desirable experience with US export controls/ITAR, and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) or Direct Commercial Sales (DCS).
- Autonomy & Responsibility: Significant independence in managing Defence-related projects with accountability for outcomes.
- Project Planning & Documentation: Skilled in developing and maintaining project plans, instructions, registers, and records management (Defence environment preferred).
- Legislation & Policy Application: Demonstrated ability to interpret and implement Defence-related legislation and policy in project contexts.
- Independent & Responsible Work Ethic: Ability to work with limited guidance, showing initiative, accountability, and responsibility.
- Communication & Stakeholder Management: Strong written/oral communication skills with proven experience managing stakeholder expectations and liaising effectively.
