Inspection and test requirements of Rotating ( API/Non API) equipment’s like pumps, engine, compressor
Arrange for the approval/review of ITP and Test procedures from TPIA/EIL/CQAE/NoBo/ Classification society (Marine) wherever applicable
On time inspection at supplier and BCIN
Submit the ITP and test procedures to Project Manager for onward submission to client for approval as per the PO and project schedule or PR/MR
Arrange inspection clearance from the TPIA/customer through the PM for the inspected and accepted items.
Prepare the ITP by using the standard templates for auxiliary items acc.to the scope of supply, API/ASME/ Classification society (Marine) standard, and customer specifications.
Co-ordinate with SCM, supplier, ENGG/EMSR for closing of observations/non conformities
Arrange meeting on NCR analysis & monitor the corrective actions taken by the supplier on major non conformities.
Submit inspection visit report/ NCR’s to the concern immediately at the end of visit within 24 hour.
Issue inspection release note/clearance to the vendor after acceptance of the items/equipment’s

Prepare all lesson learnt in the project and inform to PM and concern department for action.
Review and approve the vendors ITP (e.g. Vessel, coolers, Air Dryers etc) test procedures/ Weld procedures wrt national and international standards for the defined items.
Inspect loose items as per packing list certified by Packaging section.
Perform inspections at vendors place or at BCIN acc.to agreed ITP and test procedures.
Prepare & submit the quality documentation to PM as per agreed time schedule
Error free Inspection
Clear MRN after confirming the compliance to PO,ITP and receipt of IRN/dispatch clearance from client.
Review PO, customer tech specifications/SOTR received along with the PO and fill up the LBU review checklist
Timely review and clearance of open Test certificates in SAP
Attend Order transfer meetings for PL1, PL2,PL7 and defense compressors new orders
Perform/ Witness/ Review NDT's like Dye penetration, Ultrasonic Test, Radiography test
Issue notifications to TPIA/client/CQAE/EIL for involvement of witness inspection acc.to the approved ITP
Review Engg. Drawings and specifications wrt to the ITP/PO/PR/SOTR wherever required by the engg.
Inspect all the items acc.to approved ITP and Signoff the ITP for completion of inspection activity
Attend all the inspections along with the TPIA/customer representative at vendor’s place/BCIN as per vendors request date. Items are including but not limited to
Raise NCR’s for the deviations observed in the packaging area.
