Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise to strengthen station performance in a power generating company. Oversee NERC compliance, GADS administration, and support major projects, outages, and long-term planning initiatives.
Engage with sites during major project and overhaul planning, monitoring progress and providing oversight as needed.
Administer and maintain the Heritage GADS database to ensure data integrity and reliability.
Assist with training and preparation for large projects, maintenance outages, and the effective handling of significant events.
Support annual updates of 5-year plans and budgets by providing input and guidance to station leadership.
Serve as a leadership resource across all Heritage Power, LLC assets, providing consistent guidance and direction.
Provide leadership support and direction to personnel on the application of NAES procedures, including safety and compliance standards.
Serve as a technical resource for equipment performance issues, unit trips, equipment failures, and lead root cause analysis efforts.
Interface with NAES and Everline to track compliance status and resolve deficiencies in evidence needed to demonstrate adherence to NERC standards.
Mentor and develop station leadership teams, including Operations and Maintenance Managers and Supervisors, to strengthen leadership capability.
Provide on-site (“boots on the ground”) support for Heritage facilities, particularly with PRC and MOD requirements.
Develop and train a qualified backup resource to ensure continuity of GADS responsibilities.
Lead key initiatives aimed at improving station reliability, operational performance, and overall fleet profitability.
Assist staff with Gensuite reporting, application use, and training to ensure consistency and compliance.
Monitor monthly station reporting requirements for accuracy and completeness, offering guidance and feedback to station leadership teams.
Monitor NERC requirements across the Heritage fleet to ensure ongoing compliance and readiness for audits.
Lead the rollout and ongoing administration of the NAES assessment program across all Heritage assets.
Assist station leaders in fostering a collaborative and productive environment with union personnel and diverse teams across the fleet.
Support administrative and procurement teams with interpretation of policies and resolution of procedural questions.
Maintain primary responsibility for accurate and timely quarterly PJM GADS submissions.

Must possess a valid, unrestricted U.S. driver’s license and ensure it remains in good standing at all times.
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or equivalent discipline preferred, providing a solid foundation in the technical aspects of power plant operations and management. Relevant industry or military experience may be considered in lieu of formal education on a year-for-year basis.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to foster collaboration among union and non-union personnel, contractors, and stakeholders.
Six to ten years of experience in plant operations, maintenance, or engineering within an industrial or power plant environment, including exposure to design, construction, startup, or operations.
Demonstrated ability to analyze plant performance data, lead root cause analysis, and implement initiatives that improve operational reliability and profitability.
Residence in the NJ, PA, OH or immediate surrounding region is needed to enable timely on-site support and oversight of Heritage Power LLC assets.
In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., NERC, OSHA, EPA) and experience supporting audits or developing compliance programs.
Strong commercial background with experience in contract management, negotiations, scheduling, and budgeting.
Proven management experience in technical areas, with demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple activities across diverse disciplines.
Prior experience working with a third-party O&M service provider strongly desired.
