- Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Quality, Planning) to ensure aligned procurement activity.
- Oversee the end-to-end procurement process across metals, components, and engineered products.
- Negotiate contracts, RFQs, and terms to achieve cost savings and supply security.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers, including regular UK travel for site visits.
- Interpret engineering drawings/specifications to support sourcing and supplier selection.
- Manage supplier performance – driving improvements in quality, delivery, cost, and risk mitigation.
- Lead, coach, and develop a small purchasing team, bringing structure and strong controls into daily operations.
