The tax manager ensures that the company tax strategy complies with local, state, and federal tax laws in all states in which we operate. They will also oversee the yearly tax filings and assist in tax‑related audits of all legal entities.
The role requires excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance, and all types of tax returns, along with comprehensive GAAP knowledge, strong emotional intelligence, professional communication, and advanced Microsoft Excel and Office skills. The tax manager must handle multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, collaborate with senior executives, and demonstrate high moral and ethical standards.
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field, with a master’s degree preferred, and must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). At least five years of relevant tax experience are required.
The position involves light physical effort up to 10 pounds, repetitive computer work, and occasional travel, performed in an indoor climate‑controlled environment.
