Lead or assist in preparing scopes and fee estimates. Maintain an awareness of project budgets and endeavor to complete assignments within the budget.
Supervise subcontractors in the performance of field work and surveys.
Use one’s own judgment in making permitting recommendations to internal and external clients.
Administration of municipal separate storm sewer system (MS4) programs for municipalities, including developing and reviewing ordinances, policies, and procedures, performing plan reviews, recordkeeping, training, and facilitating education and outreach activities
Surface water quality standards, Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDLs) and other key water quality initiatives and collecting and analyzing water quality/sediment/ biological monitoring data
Coordination under Section 106 of National Historic Preservation Act

Proficiency with standard equipment used in collecting field data and mapping such as Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Global Positioning System (GPS).
Strenuous work conditions and periodic work in inclement weather is possible. Must be able to lift over 50 pounds.
Must have experience with technical/professional writing and the ability to conduct presentations at public and client meetings.
Ability to travel for projects located outside of Oklahoma City/Tulsa areas, as needed.
Professional certification in appropriate field.
Ecological Services - Environmental and biological surveys, Section 404 permitting, and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documentation
Ability to utilize software including Microsoft Office products.
NPDES permitting, including Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) development, compliance inspections, and reporting for Industrial and Construction Permit projects
Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments in compliance with ASTM International Standards and EPA All Appropriate Inquiry Rule and the EPA Brownfields Program
B.S. degree with 10+ years of experience. B.S. degree in environmental science, biology, geology, urban planning, GIS, archeology, or related field. M.S. degree is preferred. A combination of education and experience may be used to meet the requirements of this job posting.
