Production Associate

Overview

Assist with manufacturing, production tasks, QC, and equipment maintenance.

Tasks

-Coates or touch up finished goods utilizing brushes, rollers and/or spray guns. -Marks or tag material with proper job number, piece marks, and other identifying marks. -Care Guides to help employees navigate the complex healthcare system -Performs a variety of production tasks utilizing low complexity process equipment, hand tools and power tools common to the fabrication industry. -Follows all setup procedures and work instructions as documented in the Operations System. -Cleans and resets the assigned equipment and designated parking area at the end of each shift, including but not limited to washing, dusting, vacuuming the unit, sweeping the floor, placing items in the proper storage area, stacking pallets, restocking packaging, and dumping trash. -Completes work as directed by plant management. -Accurately updates all records and visual tracking, whether written or electronic. -Assist different production processes by loading, offloading, and moving materials and finished products, manually or with hoists or cranes. -Follows all plant safety procedures and uses all applicable personal protective equipment (PPE). Holds other team members accountable for following all safety procedures, environmental control, process control and quality control practices. -Reports all machinery issues to Maintenance promptly.

What You Bring

-Regular activities: standing, walking, talking, hearing, and performing tasks requiring fine motor skills (e.g., reaching, pushing, pulling, grasping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, and bending). -Cross-trains as directed and is willing to work at any production position in the plant, on a as needed basis. -Ability to operate assigned task and cross-train in similar jobs or jobs one level up on complexity. -High School diploma or equivalent -Occasional activities: sitting, climbing, crawling, and lifting items weighing up to 35-55 lbs. -You are customer-focused with an eye for detail. -Ability to learn production operations. -Demonstrates good/excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills. -Exhibits a continuous improvement mindset with ability to verbalize ideas for process and workflow improvements. -Can Do - Team Player, Open to Change, & Pursuing continuous improvement. -Ability to use/read common measuring tools in the manufacturing and fabrication industry, do basic mathematical calculations, and use a calculator.
