Plater

• Responsible for cable management, general good housekeeping in working area.
• Tack welding fabricated parts together.
• Assembling steelwork in line with engineering drawings.
• Reading & Interpreting Engineering drawings.
• Working in confined space scopes where required.
• Operating Bandsaw where required and trained to do so.
• Measuring and marking out plates and sections for cutting.
• Guiding overhead cranes and hoists where trained for moving and assembling plates.
• Maintaining material traceability during assembly.
• Aligning and checking tolerances.

Backshift 37.5 hrs per week

Dayshift: 37.5 hrs per week

• Operating plate cutting machine where required and trained to do so.
• Working in line with strict adherence to Quality/Health & Safety Procedures and processes, and adherence to legislation.
• Operating projector where required and trained to do so.

Monday – Friday from 0700hrs – 1500hrs

Overtime based on project requirements.
