Familiarity with AASHTO, MassDOT, NHDOT, and/or CTDOT standards. Experience designing and analyzing transportation structures such as bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and sign structures.
Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, clients, and external stakeholders.
Proficiency with structural analysis software (experience with 3D finite element analysis preferred). Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD (MicroStation experience is a plus).
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (BSCE) from an ABET-accredited program.
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Massachusetts, Connecticut, or New Hampshire (PE in one or more states preferred).
Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and technical writing skills.
Valid driver's license with a history of safe driving practices.
