Read blueprints, engineering sketches, or designs and recognize details and variations.
Troubleshoot, repair, and install components, as well as perform basic design, adjustment, and welding.
Work with rigging and scaffolding, using ropes, chains, cables, hoists, jacks, and lift trucks to move heavy equipment.
Operate powered hand tools and occasionally perform welding projects.
Use precision measuring instruments and understand how components fit and work together.
Install, repair, and maintain equipment, machinery, and facilities.
Keep accurate records for replacement part ordering and regular equipment inspection.
Communicate effectively on issues such as scope of work, completion schedules, problems, solutions, materials, or parts required.

Capability to repair and replace test cables.
Experience with PLC programming, pneumatics, hydraulic, ladder logic, and industrial controls is a plus.
Experience with PLC (ladder logic control and functions as pertains to machine operation).
Skill in operating powered hand tools and stationary machine tools.
Possess knowledge of electrical power, hydraulic power, air power, PLC, light curtains, safety devices, and repair and replacement of test cables.
Knowledge of light curtains and other safety devices.
Associates or Bachelor's degree in Electro-Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Understanding of hydraulic power (cylinders, valves, proper oil understanding force as applied).
Ability to read blueprints and engineering sketches.
Basic knowledge of electrical power (proper wire size for current, amps, Volts, AC, DC).
Familiarity with air power (cylinders, valves, mufflers, and other air components).
1-3 years of experience in manufacturing, industrial, or military maintenance environment.
