Manage medium and large-scale integrated watershed and infrastructure planning/design projects
Participating in water and wastewater pumping station design, treatment facility design, and system assessments.
Applying technical knowledge and coordination skills to solve problems on complex multi-disciplinary projects
Preparation of specifications, cost estimates, technical reports, and tender documents.
Coordinating with multiple business groups within GHD, subconsultants, and external agencies.

Producing conceptual and detailed design drawings for a wide variety of civil and water infrastructure projects, including site grading, water distribution, wastewater and stormwater systems, and linear utility design.
Contributing to the development of proposals and project strategies.

Must have between 8 to 10 years of civil design experience
Experience with water, sanitary, and storm infrastructure design and construction.
Experience in creating conceptual and detailed design models and producing related drawings for civil design projects
Familiarity with MMCD, and municipal servicing standards.
Strong experience with geometric design, including alignments, profiles, corridor modeling, and cross section development
Outstanding interpersonal communication skills (both oral and written), with the ability to interact effectively within all levels of the organization in a collaborative fashion
Strong knowledge of Civil 3D for corridor and pipe network modeling, and familiarity with hydraulic modeling platforms.
Experience or interest in green infrastructure, combined sewer overflow management, and sustainable design practices.
Extensive experience of using pipe network module in Civil 3D.
Experience in alternative delivery models (e.g., Design-Build or P3) is an asset.
Interest or experience with new design tools and technologies such as BIM platforms, design programming, visualizations and automation are considered assets
Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering
Experience managing multiple tasks while maintaining a high degree of attention to detail in a demanding consulting environment
Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate work in order to meet required deadlines while complying with procedures and best practices.
