Mortgage Officer

• Assess mortgage applications and assist members in progressing applications and preparing for drawdown of funds
• Assist with administrative and organisational tasks to support the lending function
• Maintain and monitor mortgage reports and pipeline analysis daily
• Support personal loan underwriting and decision-making, particularly for complex loan cases
• Communicate with members regarding mortgage and loan applications in person, by phone, and via electronic channels

• APA Loans qualification (minimum requirement)
• Exposure to the full mortgage process from application to drawdown
• Good level of education, ideally to third level
• Excellent knowledge of Word and Excel
• Strong administrative, organisational, and prioritisation skills
• Minimum 12–18 months’ experience in a financial services environment, ideally as a Mortgage Advisor
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• High attention to detail to ensure excellent member service and regulatory compliance
• Experience with the Progress system is advantageous
• Strong interpersonal skills and a professional manner
