

Provider of non‑hazardous solid waste collection, recycling, disposal and energy services.
The Sorter is responsible for safely and efficiently processing incoming recyclable materials so that outbound commodities are acceptable for sale to brokers or mills. This role involves sorting and segregating recoverable items such as aluminum, plastic, glass, and paper from waste streams.
Key duties include depositing sorted materials into the appropriate chutes, assisting teammates with heavy or bulky items, and following all Company safety policies, including stopping the conveyor belt in emergencies. The Sorter also inspects loads for unacceptable waste, removes prohibited items, and communicates with equipment operators about special waste handling.
The position requires prior experience working in a recycling facility and the ability to perform other job‑related duties as assigned. The Sorter must also adhere to company policies and may be tasked with additional responsibilities as needed.
