Identification, cost-benefit analysis, and further development of energy efficiency, sustainability, and decarbonization initiatives to meet carbon and utility spend reduction goals within the built environment.
Technical leadership and oversight of decarbonization plan development through beneficial electrification, building improvement projects, and capital upgrades/investments.
Conducting ASHRAE Level I, II, & III Energy Audits.
Conducting advanced technical analyses, including energy simulations, thermal load profile development, and customized engineering calculations.
Performing retro-commissioning in commercial, institutional, and multifamily buildings.
Evaluating building energy performance and carbon reduction assessments.
Leading client communications, including scoping, progress updates, and presentation of results to client leadership & other stakeholders.
Management and mentorship of project teams to ensure adherence to schedules, budgets, and firm quality standards.
Coordinating internal staff to ensure successful project delivery, including project planning and execution.
Developing clean energy recommendations including technical scope development, energy savings calculations, economic analyses, and implementation cost estimates.

Energy industry related certifications such as CEM, CEA, BEAP, CMVP.
Familiarity with NYC energy conservation code and Local Laws, including 84, 87, 88, & 97.
Strong analytical, technical, writing, presentation, communication, and project management skills.
7+ years of experience in energy auditing, retro-commissioning, and energy analysis.
Demonstrated experience with decarbonization strategies within the NYS built environment, including large commercial, healthcare, higher education, and K-12 school buildings.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and Professional Licensure (PE).
