The Account Manager is responsible for proactively maintaining and retaining relationships with existing customers for permanent commercial and industrial waste services in an assigned territory, while also increasing penetration by selling the full suite of Republic Services products.
The role involves building long‑term customer loyalty, mastering the company’s service portfolio and pricing, executing contract renewals, handling cancellations according to policy, supporting pricing initiatives, documenting all sales activities in Salesforce, and collaborating with operations to resolve service issues. Regular reviews with the Sales Manager and participation in community events enhance visibility and performance.
Preferred candidates have waste or transportation industry experience. Minimum qualifications include at least one year of relevant sales experience and a valid driver’s license.
