General Labor - Groundsman

Overview

General labor duties maintaining plant cleanliness, safety, and supporting operations.

Tasks

-Assist in the loading and unloading of construction materials from trucks and other vehicles. -Help monitor inventory levels of materials and supplies, notifying the supervisor of low stock. -Perform general clean-up of the yard and plant areas to maintain a safe and organized workspace. -This position involves working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. -Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries. -Support production operations by providing manual labor as needed. -Participate in routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to sweeping, shoveling, and pressure washing.

What You Bring

-Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. -Must have reliable transportation to and from the work site. -Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or similar general labor position is a plus. -Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. -Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures and company protocols. -High school diploma or equivalent preferred. -Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required. -Strong work ethic and physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform labor-intensive tasks. -Basic understanding of construction materials and tools. -Willingness to undergo SRM’s pre-employment screenings. -Requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting for long periods.
