Key responsibilities include defining development strategies for the customer portfolio, aligning activities with customer needs and pain‑points, and achieving expected business results. The manager will maintain and develop relationships, coordinate specialist support, and demonstrate added value through the Coromant Value Framework. Accurate market information, forecasts, budgets and targets must be provided, while engaging internal stakeholder teams to deliver total solutions and secure project work. All activities follow the Quality Management System and Sales & Marketing Playbook.
Additional duties involve keeping CRM (Dynamics) data up‑to‑date, adhering to internal rules and documentation processes, and continuously improving knowledge of Sandvik Coromant’s product and technology offerings. The role requires ongoing professional development through company‑arranged and independent training. Other ad‑hoc requests from management may be assigned as needed.
Candidates should hold a Mechanical or Production Engineering degree from a tier‑1 institute and possess 8‑10 years of experience in metal‑cutting, machine shops, engineering projects or tooling methods. Strong communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills are essential, along with consultative selling, negotiation up to top management, and the ability to operate inside a complex matrix organization. Financial literacy, digital proficiency (Office 365, Dynamics CRM, Productivity Improvement Programs) and execution capability are required. Alignment with Sandvik Core Values and competence in project management, agility and data analytics are also expected.
