The role involves performing a variety of repairs and services in a specialized building‑system environment with a strong emphasis on HVAC, mechanical, carpentry, painting, and plumbing. A working knowledge of electrical/electronic BAS systems is considered a plus.
Candidates must have a two‑year technical degree or an equivalent apprenticeship, plus at least five years of operations and maintenance experience. They should possess in‑depth maintenance knowledge, basic electrical skills, the physical ability to lift up to 50 lb, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces, and be comfortable using hand and power tools or a man‑lift.
The position requires flexibility to work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays, a valid driver’s license, strong teamwork, and the ability to pass a thorough background check and interview. Preferred qualifications include a Universal EPA Refrigeration Certification and familiarity with Metasys building management systems.
