In the role you will provide a housing management service, supporting customers with tenancy and rent account management, housing benefit claims and ensuring timely receipt of payments. You will also aim to turn around vacant beds swiftly to maintain maximum occupancy while keeping the scheme health‑and‑safety compliant.
We are looking for someone who can work independently, influence people from diverse backgrounds, and has proven experience in tenancy and housing support, including managing voids, daily property inspections, health‑and‑safety checks, enforcing tenancy conditions and collecting rent. You must be able to use technology for support plans, benefit claims and tenancy sign‑ups, and you will need an enhanced DBS check, which we will fund.
Housing Management Coordinator – starting salary £25,838‑£26,645 p/a, permanent full‑time (37.5 hpw) in Scarborough. Join the extra‑care Community Wellbeing scheme at Webb Ellis Court, Scalby. The role provides 24‑hour resident support, with typical office hours of 8 am to 5 pm Monday‑Friday, and requires flexible availability to meet resident needs while respecting your personal time.
