As a Senior Structures Engineer you will support the Design Team Leader on various schemes, lead projects from quotation to handover, produce and review designs, calculations and documentation, and mentor junior engineers and technicians while overseeing a small technical team.

We are seeking a permanent Senior Bridges Engineer or Bridge Engineer to join our Amey Consulting team in Stafford. The role is hybrid, welcoming Structural Engineers who can commute to the region, and offers a clear pathway to Senior, Lead Senior or Principal Bridge Engineer positions.
- Significant experience in bridge/structures engineering, typically from an engineer role.
- Ability to produce or oversee technically sound solutions complying with standards and client requirements.
- Proficiency with LUSAS, Autodesk Structural Bridge Design, or similar tools.
- Strong commercial awareness and knowledge of CDM regulations and risk assessment.
- Experience managing hazards and risks on projects with effective mitigation.
- Good interface management across engineering disciplines.
- Chartered or incorporated status with ICE/IStructE (or progressing) and a relevant degree.
