  • Engaging with partners or stakeholders such as employment and educational organisations, social enterprises and charities to develop and maximise social value outcomes.
  • Generate regular reports on social impact performance for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Stay informed about best practices, emerging trends, and regulatory requirements related to social value and corporate social responsibility.
  • Creation of regional specific case studies for reporting, comms, work winning.
  • Tracking, measurement and reporting of social value activity in support of framework and contractual commitments.
  • Support the development of resources to enable the AECOM workforce to deliver social value programmes, for example resource packs, materials, and partnerships for educational engagement programmes that support or projects and programmes.
  • Independently planning and delivering social value related activities and initiatives for key projects.
  • Identify and sustain partnerships with regional groups, suppliers, third sector organisations to support Social Value strategy and AECOM workforce to deliver impactful social value activities and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify key areas for social impact and set measurable objectives.
  • Developing and implementing comprehensive and effective social value related plans, strategies or frameworks
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement in our social value initiatives.
  • Support project and functional teams to integrate social value principles into their activities and decision-making processes.
  • Measuring social value created by projects including experience of using social value measurement tools such as the national TOMs framework
  • Co-create and support the Europe and India social value programmes that contribute to our Social Value Strategy.
  • Managing projects - including client liaison, reporting requirements and the financial management aspects.
  • Ensure a strategic approach to work winning through responses to PQQ and ITT tender requests, local partnerships, case studies and social value knowledge.
  • Upskill employees through training and guidance resources.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including, local social value groups, community leaders, and industry associations.

  • Understanding and responding to key client, sector and regional social value drivers.
  • Knowledge and evidenced understanding of the implications of the Public Sector Services Act 2012, PPN 06/20 and other legislation in relation to planning, major infrastructure, urban regeneration and environmental enhancement schemes.
  • Experience writing social value tender submissions and supporting work winning activities. Excellent report writing and research skills with a high proficiency in using Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience of creating social value action plans, coordinating, and delivering social value initiatives.
